HAVE YOU SEEN THE LIGHTHOUSE?

HAVE YOU SEEN THE LIGHTHOUSE?

Job 37:21“And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.”

Hope always looks forward. It always sees ahead. It has its gaze above the storms and waves of life. It has its sight at the Lighthouse.

Every captain or sailor knows that for a safe navigation at sea or inland waterways, especially at night, one of their most vital system or beacon of hope for guidance, refuge and rescue is the lighthouse. It stands tall into the clouds emitting light that can be seen from afar. This in itself enables sailors to hold steady in confidence that they will arrive soon.

Brooding over this, I see the wickedness of this dark world in making sure that the places of hope – our Lighthouses in the society are perpetually hidden and covered. He knows that when a troubled person at the sea of worries, depression and challenges sees the Lighthouse, he will be strengthened to endure and push forward. So, he makes sure that there is darkness in the world and gross darkness in the hearts of the people. But, it is about to change because God will heighten the brightness of that light to overwhelm the darkness.

You will see hope afar off. You will see goodness in the land of your nativity. You will see help coming. Your sights and vision will be cleared and cleaned immediately. Jesus will be your Lighthouse and in His light you will see light.
